Profile
Born in 1977 in an US Naval base in Japan and having an American father and Japanese mother, I have had the wonderful opportunity to grow up in three cultures (American, Japanese, military brat cultures).Having to move every three years as with many families in the US military, I have lived in more than 15 different places and enjoyed meeting and befriending people from different regions. On top of that, I was able to experience many types of jobs before becoming a teacher, such as working as a travel agent in Hawaii and a kid's clothing store in Japan). These experiences have led me to believe that the most important qualities in life and to make a better world are being considerate and paying it forward.
